we would like to inform you about the 5th Conference of the European Industrial
Hemp Association (EIHA): http://www.eiha.org/conference5th

The conference will take place again in the proven EuroMedia Hotel (http://www.euromedia-hotel.de)
in Huerth (near Cologne, Germany). Please reserve the date of 19.-20. November
2007 in your calendar!
Please register soon and don't forget to book your hotel room as soon as possible.
The number of participants is limited to 90 - last year 110 experts wanted
to join the conference.
Background of the conference
The EIHA Conference established itself as an expert meeting of the natural
fibre branch in Europe and also world-wide. Experts from all over the world
will meet each other in order to exchange information about the latest developments
concerning hemp and other natural fibres. The spectrum of participants will
range from cultivation consultants, primary and further processors, traders,
mechanical engineers and investors to numerous small and medium-sized enterprises
and to globally operating automotive enterprises and suppliers. They all share
common interest in the utilisation of hemp fibres and shives. The conference
language will be English.

Finally at the conference we expect more than 20 hemp and natural fibres experts
as speaker. The time for presentations will be about 20 minutes plus 10 minutes

The participant fee is 300 EUR plus 19% VAT and for EIHA members we have a

EIHA - New Board of Directors
An extraordinary General Meeting of EIHA was held on 19. April 2007 in EuroMedia
Hotel in Huerth. Due to the resignation of the First Deputy of EIHA Cesare
Tofani from Gruppo Fibranova (Italy) a new Board of Directors was elected.
Mr. John Hobson from Hemcore (UK) is still President of the EIHA, Bernd Frank
from BaFa (Germany) changed his position to First Deputy of EIHA and for Second
Deputy of EIHA Joan Reverté from AGROFIBRE SAS (France) was elected.
EIHA - General Meeting
On Sunday, 18th November 2007, also in the EuroMedia Hotel, the 3rd General
Meeting of EIHA will take place. All members of EIHA can attend the General
